Off Kilter
SPORT KILTS

Once upon a time, artist and mountain biking enthusiast Geoff Slater had a brilliant idea... to go biking in a kilt. He approached Master Tailor, Fuat Gumushel with his idea and Off Kilter Mountian Biking Kilts were born. Working together, the two designed a kilt that would be light weight, functional and stylish.

The Off Kilter Kilt does not interfere with riding (or running), yet it offers a bit of a *fender* for mud and it certainly keeps people guessing. Probably the coolest thing to come along in mountain biking in years, the Off Kilter Kilt is easy to care for, relatively inexpensive and will certainly set you apart from the other riders.

The Off Kilter Registry:

When you order a kilt from Off Kilter, your name will be placed in the official registry. The registry is located in beautiful St. Andrews by the Sea, New Brunswick, Canada.

Wearing your Kilt:

In order to ensure your kilt is position properly on your body, make sure the buckle is on your right hip.

Caring for your Kilt:

Inevitably, your kilt will become very muddy. The steps to caring for your kilt are: After riding, lay the kilt flat and allow the mud to dry. Then simply brush the mud clumps off with your hand. After you have brushed off the clumps of mud, you can shake it outside and the kilt will come fairly clean. After very muddy or wet rides, lay the kilt flat on the inside edge of the bathtub. You could also use a hose outside and lay it flat on something with an angle. Gently wet the kilt repeatedly with water until the water runs clear and lay it flat to dry. Try not to get the belt wet. Eventually, your kilt will be just so dirty that you will have to have it dry cleaned. And that's okay.

You'll be in Good Company
